Summer Advantage 2026: Free Summer Learning Program for the Entire Community Opens Enrollment at Three Detroit-Area Locations

As summer approaches, families across Detroit, Harper Woods, and Redford have an exciting opportunity to keep their children engaged, learning, and having fun through Summer Advantage, a nationally recognized, research-proven summer program. Enrollment is now open for the 2026 summer session at three convenient locations: Trix Academy, DCP Harper Woods, and DCP Redford.
Summer break should feel exciting—not like falling behind. For many children, summer can mean lost learning without the right support. Summer Advantage is designed to help scholars grow, achieve, and have FUN doing it. Students enjoy engaging reading and math instruction, hands-on enrichment classes, exciting field trips, sports, arts, motivational speakers, and more—all in a safe, structured, high-energy environment where confidence and friendships grow.
Program Details:
Dates: Monday, June 22nd – Friday, July 24th (5 weeks)
Program Times: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Grades Served: K-8 (including incoming kindergarteners)
Cost: FREE to to the entire community
